New Camera Advice

I am looking for new digi camera, it needs to have a decent zoom and take good pictures. i have selected two i fancy the fujifilm s1500 and the nikon coolpix L100 both are 10mp.

As anyone used either of these, and can comment on the picture quality ect ? Or even suggest another camera, i don't want the type that you have to change the lenses as i am disabled and can not do the lense change.

Any info offered would be grateful i am wanting to upgrade from the fujifilm finepix s5000.

I do not have experience of Fuji cameras but I am sure they are good quality. However, I have in the past used a couple of Nikon Coolpix cameras and found them to be superb with good build quality and a nice lens giving good photos.

Anyway, no matter what camera you buy try to get one with a high pixel rating, 10mp is good, also try to get one with a high optical zoom. The Nikon you are considering is 15x zoom so that seems ideal to me.
