Auris/corolla Sideskirts

hey guys, i'm from australia. just recently purchased tte sideskirts from tte.de for my auris.

anyway just wondering if anyone has installed these themselves and may be able to help me out.

My problem is...as per the instruction installation sheet provided on toyota-tech.eu it says to use the glue they provide and the existing holes to fit it.

But what i noticed is that there is no hole in the rear wheel arch and skirt to keep the rear side of the skirt secured to the body apart from the glue. i was thinking of not using the glue they provided and instead just go with securing it with the clips and screws. Did anyone if any, install it without using the glue and drill a hole to secure the rear end of it?

Anyone got thoughts or can shed any light on this?

Cheers.

Then follow the steps below.

1/ click search AIM.

2/ click vehicle.

3/ click accessory group.

then just scroll down until you come to skirts.

Take care

It mounted theese skirts on my previous auris without glue.

I used a kind of "rubber, chewing-gum type of thing"

Don`t know how to explain it, but I bought it frome 3M...

I used the clips, but had to drill a hole in the wheel arches to secure it in each end.

Did not want to use the glue in case the next owner did not want them on..
