Rav4 Engine Advice Required Please

Hi The engine on my 2002 (02 Plate) 2.0 LitreVX Automatic Petrol engine has siezed up and needs replacing. The engine code is 1AZFE I've been offered a replacement engine from a year 2007 model XT4 2.0, and this is also code 1AZFE I know the RAV4 models changed in 2006, but I'm assuming because the engine codes are the same it would be compatible with my 02 model Can anyone confirm just for my piece of mind? Thanks
