Alarm Going Off

so i fitted my new sony headunit the other week there, and ever since my alarm seems to be going off from time to time. ive no idea wat could be causing this ive never had this problem before with a new cd player, any1 any ideas?

Check your bonnet pin switch is accuratley against the bonnet and not bent off at an angle.

do u just mean the bonnet catch? would that actually set it off :S al check it tho cheers

Also make sure there's nothing metallic (coins etc) in the centre consol cup holders as that'll trip the alarm every time.

is this right? ive got a clifford deely and it goes off a lot. always thought it was too sensitive as busses and lorries tend to set it going if i park on a main road......
