Sport K&n Intake

Like the title says, i've found a K&N air intake, for only € 20.

For that price it's worth trying it :D

But my question:

Is it ok, a sport intake on a 1.4 D4D?

Cuz, it's just for taking air, not? :P

If you want it to make your engine bay look good buy it!

Power increase - I don't really think so!

Induction roar - you might get a bit

I think that it'd be more for looks than anything in a diesel.

It doesn't rev high enough to get a decent roar (I would have thought) and intakes don't give massive performance increases anyway, unless of course the standard intake was filled with concrete....

Still, at such a low price I most certainly don't see why not! It will look good and will give small gains which is certainly better than a kick in the nads IMO (you be the judge of that). :D

In conclusion; GO FOR IT!

Well, I'm surely gonna try it, but then i'll also have to put some kind of tube in it, which takes cold air from behind my foglight, so the intake has always got cold air ^_^

But with the new exhaust coming on, and the twister (see my earlier post) it should sound good!

But thanks for the info!
