Goodbye Twinchoke Carbs - - - Hello Throttle Bodies

Well even an 'Oldtimer' like me  has to accept with certain projects that perhaps a pair of Twin Barrel Weber DCOE's or Delhorto DHLA's is getting a bit old hat so ...

...a set of 'Jenvey' Throttle bodies (unused) aquired have I.

Now my question is thus: Can anybody recomend a good aftermarket or Home build ECU/Management system? I have considered 'Megasquirt' and inturn the sensors etc (MAF Sensor, Crank angle Sensor and so on) off something common like a Ford Mondeo.

At present I am still a little undecided at present as to me a pair of DCOE's appears a more cheaper 'rough and ready' approach but fully realise a Throttle body & Management system will be more 'efficent'. Emissions are not a problem on the age of 'project' I mess with! :D

Any advice greatly received

P.S. As a side note back in the 80's TRD did away with the injection and management system on the 4AGE Engine and fitted a pair of of Delhorto DHLA's and Weber DCOE's when prepairing Corollas for Motorsport events.

Oh my!!!

Omex are about £500 to £600 !!!

If 'management systems' are that price I may look at going back to 'Twinchoke carb' options for my vehicles!
