Air/fuel O2 Sensor Locations Rav4.2

Despite having a good search I'm still confused as to the locations of the

Air/Fuel and O2 sensor locations on a 2003 Petrol RAV4.2

Anybody confirm the following?

I have a CEL with code P1155 - (Heating circuit fault Bank1 Sensor2 - I believe? )

Am I correct in thinking that

Bank1 = Sensors on the passenger side of the engine (when stood in front of the car looking at the engine bay)

Bank2 = Sensors on the drivers side

Sensor 1 = Top Air Fuel Sensors

Sensor 2 = Bottom O2 post Cat sensors ?

If so it would look as though the heater circuit on my bottom sensor on the passenger side is shot?

Thanks

DaveB

P0155 is Bank 2 Sensor 1 not as you believe. So I think 1155 should be the same. (the 1 is manufacturer specific) I agree with you on the locations though for a RHD car. I think you can check across the resistance of the white heater wires to confirm , normally about 15 ohms for a good one from what I read.

edit: welcome to the forum btw.

Hi

I agree with pmb, defo worth measuring the resistance, the dodgy sensor will give a different reading to the other sensors and it will highlight it better.

I had the same issue with my RAV4.2 NRG about 18 months ago, but cant remember which one is which !! I remember reading a number of contrasting articles, a number of them were on RAV4world.com, so take the readings and make sure.

Hi,

Code 1155 is the F/A sensor top left looking into the engine bay from the front.
