Isnt that the brake warning lamp? Have you checked the brake fluid level or that the handbrake is fully off?

Is this not yet another "cold weather thing", in that the wee handbrake shoes are not retracting the same distance as usual because of the weather, and this in turn leaves the brake warning contact in circuit? Just a wee thought from Glesga, feels like Moscowshire.

Big Kev.

yes i hear the weather is very bad up there roll on summer

the light problem started in late summer so not sure about the winter thing but the general consensus is that it is a brake problem somewhere

Double check the fluid and then disconnect the wire off the side of the reservoir to see if it goes off.
