2010 Suspension

Can anyone comment on what modifications have been made to the rear suspension of the TR in the facelifted Auris and how they affect comfort and roadholding?

just spring rates and dampers AFAIK. still uses the beam type (think we have stopped making the double wishbone as found on the old SR180 :( )

Have to admit I was surprised to see the 2.0 Diesel, and 2.2 SR180 missing from the revised line-up for 2010.

I guess that Toyota are going for low emissions, and just the non-exciting family hatchback these days. It's a shame to see the revamped Auris being less exciting than the original. Usually a mid-life face-lift is to keep things fresh and exciting, not to dull them down!
