Hi, I have a 1.8vvti that was drinking oil,I have just had it serviced by my local garage (none TT) and I have now traveled 350 miles and have not added any oil.Before the service I would have had to top up with about 2Lts of oil for that amount of miles. The only thing he did for the service was to use an engine flush and fill up with 10/40 oil. When I got it back I added a engine treatment called Greased Lighting (From ideal world shopping channel) and fingers crossed it has made a big difference. Now if it will last, who knows but it's a good start. I keep a weekly record of the miles driven and oil used, so I will know exactly the before and after useage will be.
