I fitted this a couple of weeks ago, but only got around to taking some pictures recently.

It's real easy to fit and took about 5 minutes and this included fitting the phone specific holder.

Awesome, Thanks for showing me those pics. I have the Brodit mount for my Touch Pro and now my iPhone 3GS on the bracket that mounts closer to the wheel. How easy is it to lean over and use whilst driving. I only mean, sort of like to tap the screen and so on to pause/play music or change track?

It's well within my reach and I'm not the tallest person.

This means you can download my Race Ace track day datalogger for Android

(Les, it's free, I'm not flogging stuff  )

But really I think you need to mount it right at the front on the windscreen to get a good GPS signal.

Paul.

Looks like a pretty neat installation though I have a few questions:

Is that thing glued or screwed to the dashboard?

Where doe the wire coming out of the phone lead to? The cigarette lighter or the stereo?

The charm of using a Brodit Proclip is that it uses existing seams in the dashboard to clip into.

So there are no holes, glue or screws and everything can be removed without leaving any marks...

They're a bit pricy IMHO, but VERY popular in Leased vehicles...

As Jan said, no glue, no screws.

Simply wedges into gaps in the dash, although it does have some sticky pads on it to help it hold in place.

The wire is a USB charger that plugs into the accessory socket.

Is there a iPhone 3G one available for the other side of the head unit?! I have seen one that goes in the tray above the stereo but I use that space for my satnav!

Cheers

James

There's a Proclip for LHD cars that sits to the righthand side of the radio.

But that's angled towards the left, so it might interfere with the steeringwheel or switch-stalk...
