Wiring Sub And Amp, Earth Wire

hello, i have a hifonics amp and a pioneer sub, will wire it in a bit but does anybody know if there is space to wire the earth cable already?

have a toyota corolla 2003 (E12)???

is there any other information i need to know before installing? thanks

You can usually find somewhere in the boot area, to secure and ground the earth point too, be it a fixture or fitting of some sort.

I fed mine through the hole where you get to the rear lights, there was a big bolt behind there (maybe 15 or 16mm), unscrewed it and wrapped the wire round.

Or you can use the rear seatbelt bolts.

I used the bolt in the rear lights, wouldnt reccommend the bolts in the seats as theyr not a strong point for earthing.

as i`m a ice installer best to do the earth seperate from anything else, drill a new hole & clean the paint away,using seat bolts or other earthing points for rear lights is bad earth.

My own setup has a fresh drill into floor pan, paint or the coating is stripped and sanded to reveal 'shiny' metal. Bolt your earth/ground connection through this using a proper ground lug nut. Any other grounding point may function but will be detremental to the overall sound system since a restricted ground connection can be thought of as a restrictive engine exhaust...
