cheers!

Straight away, who wants one!

That is genius bro! I saw the video a couple of days back i think through your website when i was following the diy for removing the rear bumper. Have you got 24/7 internet in the car aswell?

It looks sweet and the finishing around the unit is so clean. Best install i have ever seen as it actually serves a purpose and it must be amazing on long journeys or if you have to wait for the mrs in a car park because shes taking ages shopping!

£400 for the screen, £400 for the components = £800 for the bits

Its got

1. The camera,

2. WIFI everywhere, you'd be suprised how many people don't have encrypted connections.

3. Plug in internet if I want it off one of those dongles.

4. DVD Player

5. MP3

6. Military grade GPS system, it runs on 5hz. Most tomtoms run on 1hz, basically it means the system updates 5 times a second as opposed to 1 times.

7. Steering wheel Controls that work!*

8. DAB Radio*

9. FM Radio with RDS*

*indicated home made!

:jawdrop: Really impressive work, nice setup! What's the spec of the hardware you're running it on? Is it booting from a solid state drive or flash based?

LOL thanks for the feedback everyone,

Its running from a solidstate drive so it boots fast and is not effected by bumps etc. Software is windows XP with roadrunner.
