Avensis D4D Water Pump

Hi

I think I put this in the wrong place earlier.

I'm thinking of buying a 56 plate avensis dvd. It has done 80000 miles. It supposedly has a ftsh and on the print out it had its water pump replaced in November. Should I be worried about anything that this early(?) replacement might mean? It is chain driven as I understand but could there be a link to any problems? Cheers for any help.

Yes, this one is definitely chain. Any idea if the water pump replacement might suggest other issues? Ta

The water pump issue has been quite common on the 2.0 & 2.2 d4d but not to worry as it has been done.

Both the 2.2 & 2.0 d4d have chain driven cams from around 2005/6 so no worries there either.

Regards, Pete.
