Chip Tuning

Hello,

I would like to know if anybody has chip tuning for Corolla 2.0 d (90 ps), year 2004? I wanted to change the care and buy more powerful (BMW 320d compact 150 ps), but my financial status doesn't let me. So I would like to gain at least more power.

Can anybody advise me where to buy a chip for my Corolla? Safe buy...

I'm from Slovenia and didn't find any info about chips in our country.

Please advise...

Looking forward to your comments...

Ursa from Slovenia

p.s. Yes I'm a woman

My kit is from 'Kingo' and yes it is for sale, but I believe you have the non-turbo diesel right? my car is 116bhp standard where as yours is 90bhp? So I don't think the chip would be compatible.

Maybe it would be worth emailing Parts-King.

I have a 2003 2.0 d4d Corolla 116bhp and was looking to get it remapped for a little more power and efficiency. I was however told by someone that it wouldnt be advisable to do this as Toyota's are already finely tuned on leaving the factory and that tampering with the engine could lead the car to become temperamental. Does anyone have any experience or opinions that could help?

You cannot remap the Denso pumps on a D4D, the only way to go is with a tuning box/chip kit. Visit our website for more information

Is that just the 2.0 D-4D?

That applies to ALL Denso pumps not just the 2.0

The chip itself does not do anymore harm to the engine, I have now had my chip for about 12 months from Kingo and covered about 25k miles and no snags, touch wood!

Hi guys, I'm from Bulgaria and I've been driving my 2006 Corolla 1.4 D4D with a PowerBox for more than three years now. It's not burning oil, it's running smoother and easier than without a box :yahoo: I've mounted an APEXi air filter for max induction, mounted a Battery voltage stabilizer ... and other stuff. My car is running next to 2.2 D4D 150hp Avensis up to 60mph..... There's a little too much smoke coming out back but it's when this is set up to MAX power  I've tried TDC Technologies, Steinbauer but the Drake 2 Box is the best yet I've tried. Ukica - I'm pretty sure you can buy such box yourself, the price is great and the results will blow your mind  If any questions - you can PM me I will help up.

P.S. I'm not trying to sell something, I'm not the seller, I'm just saying what's my experience with such boxes - it's wonderful and you can enjoy your car at entirely new level. :yahoo:
