Head Gasket !

Just had a look at my oil, for d first time in 3 years.....(car was garaged) I saw a bit of white **** in the oil cap and on dipping stick so i think the head is gone:(.

My Car a Small Port non tvis

My question is can i use a 4age Big port head instead, I have a head for a big port i was working on d last few weeks... coincidence or wat and i wanna see can i use this head as i can get it skimmed and rebuilt before removing the head on the car. and i have a full head gasket set for it already

Alrite mate,

the head will fit as it is the same engine in theory, the inlet manifold you have in there wont fit

the new head though! The ports are significantly different in size and wont match up, you could

source a tvis i/manifold or even get some weber carbs on but if youre not looking at carbs I would

take the current head off, sort it then put it back on!

The tvis system will set you back a bit of power and there isnt any real difference between the

small and big port head unless ure going for serious bhp!
