Adjust Headlights For Continental Driving?

Does anyone know if it's possible to adjust the iq headlights for driving on the continent? My Clio has a switch inside the headlamp that changes the beam direction but i cant figure out if the iq has a similar trick up it's sleeve.

I was last year "runing" several miles on the "wrong" side, but without changing the beams, because our iQs have NO "Tourist-solutions" (beam direction changing possibility).

Clear glas lights (only the LADAs have the "old" glasses) are not easy to tape,

on the other hand you need no change from RHD to LHD or vice versa, for a few days. The modern lights are better "sharpend (focused)".

But don't forget to turn down you lever for the frontlamps because cars with a short wheel base are often "overloaded" during holidays and beaming the "stars".

We have done several holidays driving on the continent (ok in our roaster) but never bothered with the headlight thing - never been stopped once! Carried the slivers to change but never applied...........so you can always say 'oh they must have dropped off but got spares here!'........................

Okay, thanks for the advice guys. Will just go with dipped lights and some of the 'spare' stickers and blame you two if I get fined ;)

Hey but You can always change places of headlights for continental journeys.

I mean left lamp to right side and vice versa...

... joke!!

FinniQ

Well FinniQ, I think you complicate matters unduly! It's far simpler to drive on the left side of the road and flash your lights for the problem to solve itself. (Same statutory remarks as on "Jackass", though).

I've just got back and I just did as suggested above and used the wheel on the dash to manually dip the headlights slightly. No one flashed at me in 5 days so I'd suggest you just do the same!
