Hi, New to the forum so sorry if this is in the wrong place or anything :)

iv been looking at buying a 2004, 1.4 Toyota corolla, it has 101,000 miles on the clock and has slight front end damage, £1400 what you guys think?

anyway

What are common faults on these cars?

any majour problems or worries?

how many miles do these engines do?

are all the 2002+ models the same, iv seen people say facelift and pre facelift models, are pre facelift befor 2002?how hard are parts to get hold of?

iv seen the t-sport i think..? have the white and chrome clocks, would you be able to buy them from a dealer and fit them in a noraml corolla?

thanks for any replies everyone :)

I couldn't tell you what the common faults are sorry. The engines will keep on going as long as you look after them, some people are near 200k now.

The only differences from Pre and Facelift is cosmetics. So all parts are still available.

You could try fitting the T-Sport dials to your car but I I think it'd look a tad daft in the 1.4 saying it has a Redline of 8250RPM :) I don't know if they can be changed however as I'm not sure if anybody on here has ever done it?
