Hi guys, just wondering when exactly was the system introduced on our rollas? I've read about early celicas not having it, but what about early rollas?

So that's including early prefacelift's? And what would happen if it was ignored and a header without the system was installed...just CEL lights or would damage be caused or performance effected?

i know some of the early jap models didnt have it - i think all the uk models have it. you can delete it - only a cel, no damage. its a pointless system - it makes the cat warm up quicker but the enviromental savings dont seem worth manufacturing a pump for.

Im working on a way to remove it so the ecu still see's that it is there, so i dont get a CEL.
