Diesel Is Better Than Lpg

hi i am new to this forum. i have always ran my cars on lpg. I paid the heavy conversion cost. The cost varies from one installer to another. the problem with lpg is that it will eventually burn your engine out. whether you have the additional flash lube or not. It has cost me more in the long run to run a car on lpg. i have turned back to diesel. Owning a Auris, is there problem to look for. Some of the reviews that i have read are not very positive. I just want other people opinions on the matter.

I've known people run cars on lpg for hundreds of thousands of miles; of course some cars are more suitable than others, an alloy block or piston set-up is not a good idea, but an iron block, piston set-up is usually ideal.

A lot of Toyotas are NOT suitable; some can be converted and run for years, but I wouldnt risk buying an alloy engined car that had been converted; and if I did buy an LPG car, it would have to be a fully documented BRG or PRINS system that had a full LPG service history.

BTW, you can have diesel engines converted to LPG as well; and it is not as hideously expensive as it used to be.
