Sat-Nav Tns300/310

My T4's sat-nav has stopped working, I have both the original TNS300 disc supplied with car & a 2005/6 TNS310 (Traffic)Plus original update disc. Has been working normally with TNS310 disc until yesterday. Have tired the older disc but still only loads as far as the Toyota screen. Have tried dis-connecting both connectors on the sat-nav unit. Seems to be communicating with the display OK as it will ask for a dvd to be loaded. Is there a reset procedure?
