Avensis Lighting Board - Relay Required?

Hi,

I have ordered a lighting board and wiring kit for my 04 plate Avensis D4-D to carry the bikes about. I have found instructions for fitting the wiring kit - looks straightforward. Question is though, do I need to also buy and fit a 7-stage relay too? I am unsure whether this is (a) required, (B) optional, or © not required. If required, can you recommend one?

whats a 7 stage relay.i you going to tow a trailer.do you mean the multi pin plug for the lights etc.that should be with the kit anyway.

if you do a search on google for tow bar wiring you get lots of advice.
