Rav 4 Clutch Problems

Recommended Posts

My Rav4 registration date is 30.6.2005

On December2008 RRG STOCKPORT advised me that car requires replacement of clutch including flywheel.

Luckly TOYOTO supplied part FOC but l had to pay labour cost for over £350.00

Recently my car was not responding acceleration.RRG STOCKPORT advised me that it requires clutch again.

On theire first replacement invoice it clearly states that clutch is under warranty for 3 years for part and labour but RRG say that because of They did bot charged parts 2 years ago warranty is only for one year and they require part and labour cost for new replacement

This does not make any sense to me! whether they previously charged or not warranty should be for 3 years as they stated on the invoice hence they should replace it free of charge .

I need some advise from members regarding how to handle this matter and where to make complaine

PLEASE HELP

welcome to the forum....

if the invoice clearly states that you have 3 years warranty then you have 3 years warranty. Contact trading standards at your local council and they will interpret any clauses etc and might take up your case.
