Hya! New member here. I own a 2005 Landcruiser LC5 D4D Auto with factory fitted alarm. Rarely had a problem but a couple of years ago the alarm remote fob failed to unlock the car. I pressed both buttons simultaneously & it worked. However over the last couple of weeks it fails to unlock the vehicle. I hav ereplaced the remote batteries & still this occours but the fault is intermittent with nil pattern. If I use the key & manually unlock the vehicle the alarm sounds & I put the key in the ignition the car starts & the alarm stops & it drives away.

Any solutions please because I feel a right twit in the car oark when this happens & even worse at 3am when going to work!
