Leaky Diesel Pump

4.2D auto 1999 model, 172k miles, FSH.

minor diesel leak on the pump, present for at least one year, now i realise where the "oil" is comming from.

i can order an exchange unit from diesel jones for about 900 plus vat and carriage.

then it needs fitting too, which i will need a garage for.

that's better than the 3k quote from Toyota.

anyone got a better idea ?

Ae you sure it is an oil leak? May be copper gasket packing has worn down giving leak. It is better to have a photo here.
