Aftermarket Springs With Standard Shocks

Morning all,

Thinking of a suspension upgrade on my CTS, my question is are the standard shocks strong enough to take the strain of aftermarket springs? I'd guess that it would decrease the life of the shocks? Also whats the handling like with standard shocks and aftermarket springs.

What are your opinions?

Eibach pro kit springs are designed to be used on standard shocks

In that case the Eibach kit will lower 35mm. There are threads on here contain pics if you search

I have koni 35mm springs on my car for 9 months now, shockis are still fine.

The ride is still comfi and you will notice alot less body roll.

You will have more confidence when cornering rather than thinking your going to roll the car lol.

i use 35mm pi springs, some maufacturers will state 1.4>1.8 but they wont fit they must say for t-sport model only
