i hope somebody out there can help .a freind of mine has got a 05reg rav and can not switch of the range /fuel/mpg off his radio.

the radio station comes on then after 10 seconds the screen changes back to the range /fuel/mpg .which button do you have to press to turn it off.

please help ?

As a matter of recent interest and repair to my wife's 2004 radio/cd, Rob....

1. Does the Radio otherwise function on the selected station, even when it changes to trip computer details?

2. Can you simply switch the unit on/off using, guess what, the on/off button?

3. What is the Toyota model number showing on the front?

They are reputedly fickle machines the radio-cassette/radio CD's, but there's a guy up here does fixes and is on eBay. Won't tell you yet how much £ things, coz you may just have eaten....! I received some sterling input from boffin electronica, shcm.

If I can help through my very recent experience I will be chuffeded.
