I have an almost identical situation to some other owners. I was on a french motorway yesterday,in my 2005 LC4D-4D auto diesel,in cruise control at 70mph when the engine cut out. I luckily managed to get off exit, before getting towed back to uk. The garage now have the car. It starts but there is a large clunking noise. I am waiting for a final verdict, but it looks terminal. Does anyone know if I have any recourse with Toyota, as this seems to come up time and again. the Vehicle only has 73K on the clock
