Fuel Tank Leak

Be kind this is my first time.

Recently I returned my Aygo under warranty when the fuel guage sender became erratic, however, I filled up with petrol, I still had 2 bars on the guage. I put in 37.5 litres of fuel ? ( 35 litre tank), I then noticed a pool of petrol under the car. The fuel only leaks when I fill right up ?. The dealer is some 100 miles away.

Either the seal between the tank and the sender unit flange is not fitted correctly or is damaged, or the filler pipe bottom end has not been fitted correctly to the tank.

Return to MrT, methinks. Fault should be easy to spot when investigated.

This is dangerous. I would take the car straight back to Toyota :-)
