Illuminated Dial Neddle Not Illuminated

Hi, I am usually to be found on TIF, but have come over to ask advice on how to repair a speedo needle that is not illuminatting on I believe it is an Aristo, although now it is badged Lexus. I am sure I have seen on the Web somewhere about this being a common fault but cannot trace it at the moment. I have performed a quick search on here, no luck. Hope someone can point me in the right direction to help out a fellow import owner.
