4 Wheel Alignment

Hi

Looking to get the alignment done on the Rav this week

have noticed the NSR wheel splaying out a bit OSR doing the same but not as bad

Thinking with all the Potholes in Glasgow, might as well get it all done.

Have booked it in at a place called (Pro Grip Alignment) in Bonnybridge. Anyone know of them ?

Spoke to the chap who runs the place explained the problem. He advised that their may be a problem tracking the Rear Wheels as the adjusting links tend to seize up, mentioned I would give everything a good soak with WD40 nbefore I travelled up.

Saying that im not sure which parts on the rear to lube up. Can anyone point me in he right direction

Thanks

Ian H

Pro Grip guy is really good, he set up the coilovers on my Impreza, a car with spot on alingment makes a huge difference.

By the time I got down to him, only had about 1/4 tank of fuel left, so he put in some water bottles in boot to simulate the correct balance.

As for what bits to soak, think the worst bits are the eccentric bolts in the inside of the control arms.

I use the guys in Motherwell - they set up a lot of race cars so have all the gear... and its handy for me. Don't know the guy in Bonnybridge but I guess they must be ok.

The guys did both my 1994 RAVs with only a bit of a struggle on the high mileage one.... but they managed.
