Aygo Not Starting

I have had my lovely Aygo Blue from new for just over 18 months.

On three occassions, when I have turned on the car, it has simply beeped when I have moved it into Easy transmission mode and refused to go into gear. Then when I turn the car off, the engine won't turn on at all. The first two times I called the AA. The engineer unplugged some electronic part of the engine (technical I know!!) reconnected them and then the engine restarted. At the first service, I asked the mechanics but they said they could see nothing wrong.

It happened again yesterday and my husband managed to disconnect the same part as the AA man, reconnect it and it worked.

What I would like to know is if anyone else has had a similar problem and if they have any advice?

Not too sure about the MMT as I have a manual and it does seem like MMT related issue?! I know there are people on here who will be able to shed some more light on this!

sounds like something going wrong with whatever this connector is, perhaps some WD40?!

Welcome to TOC Susie.

Why not take the car and your husband to the dealers and get hubby to show the tecchie what he did? At least there may be a clue there...
