I am about to buy a 2.0l Toyota Ipsum from japan. I have the serial number and the model number for the vehicle. I would like to verify the model year, if possible using these numbers. I had previously bought a 1998 Camry which has been stolen...now I am being told that the Camry was a 1997 by the insurance company. Don't want to get bit again. Help!
