Is that wrapped or is it dipped? Looks very nice, let me know how you get on with the Battery cover as I'm looking at getting/making one to.

that's dipped, the carbon effect pattern isn't as good as the film, but you can go round corners easier with dipping.

I like the look of the dipping, have just spoke to a guy who does it and I am going to decide on what I want doing under the bonnet and get it all sent off. I have a Battery cover that is going to be dipped so hopefully it will tidy up the engine bay just nice

Does anyone have any experience of the CF film under the bonnet?

ie: how well does it cope with the engine temperatures?

That is what I was worried about but the dipping gets away from that issue so its full steam ahead for me

I've looked into the dipping, it can be quite expensive, there is a place in Todmorden, North West England that does it. Not had chance to contact them about prices, but from looking at other websites it can be costly. I have spoken to Bridges and his is dipped, looks really nice I must admit.

Todmorden isn't a million miles from me so might see if they are competitive with the quote I have had already

I am ashamed to say that I haven't taken it any further.........the reason being is I have gone for a slightly different direction in terms of 'dressing' the engine bay, a couple of photos up already with more to follow as I progress.

The other side to all this is that I have a possible acquisition of a Corolla GTI which will be all but confirmed on Sunday all being well
