Brake Disc Colour Advice

After getting my new M-tec discs, they've now obviously rusted on the surface where they're not kept polished by the pads. I don't know whether to clean them up and keep them shiny and lacquer them, or to paint them in silver or black. What have you all done to yours and what do you suggest?

I have painted mine black, I couldn't put up with the rust

Yea just paint them black. Don't worry about being neat around the disc edge because as soon as you brake the pads will remove any paint that gets in their way!
