  1. 1. How do I remove the roof rails off my Rav

I have tried to remove the two roof "rails" on my 2002 2.0 Rav4 Mk 2. It looks like you remove the plastic end caps first? But I am not sure? The end caps look like they may easily break as the are plastic. Any advice please?

You would have been better posting this in the Rav forum, but yes you slide the plastic cover off and undo the bolts you find underneath.

You should then block off the holes with shorter bolts and re-fit plastic covers (which I guess you won't have) for a Rav without the

roof bars.You may be able to source these from Parts King.
