Key Fob Battery Replacement

Hi all,

I have just replaced the Battery on my 2005 Verso key fob. Problem is it is not working.

When I put the Battery in the red light on the front flashes for about 30 seconds then stops. I have tried to use the remote whilst it is flashing but does not work. I have tried a few batteries and still the same problem.

Anyone any ideas what the issue is? Luckily I have a key which I am using just now.

Managed to sort this just after posting!

In case it helps anyone else, I solved it this way. I opened the car with the key. The light then started flashing again, so I put it in the ignition. The car then started OK, and after this it was opening and locking the doors again. So it must reset itself somehow when the Battery is changed.

Hope this helps someone else out.
