Previa Sliding Door Electric Lock Stuck

Hello,

New member looking for some advice. I have a 2002 Previa with passenger side sliding door permanenetly locked shut. I believe it is the contacts in the sliding door which are preventing the electric locking mechanism from operating. Is it possible to manually unlock the door? Any one experienced this before?
