Hi people brought some new alloys today for me starlet. they are the ones off the yaris t sport. gotta buy tyres for them but think they should look good. what do ya think? does and body on here sell tyres often????or can any body tell me the best place to get some???other wise i will just go to me local tyre place.

look for vikeing international...they supply some tyres to quick fit and the like....

if you want all out grip in the dry with a mix of decent wet weather handling go for some michelains....but they are a bit pricey..ive ssen them range form £37-£65...for 195 45 15 depending on how many is in stock at viking... they are the pilot sports

if your after a decent tire with a harder compound that lasts longer go for some uniroal rainsports...they range from £21-£38 for 195 45 15 again depending on the quantity in stock.... its amazing the amount of miles u can squeeze out of these tyres!

lastly..when you get your new tyres on its essential that the tracking gets measured, and reset..so you dont ware out your new expensive tyres in a couple of thousand miles.

avoid places like quick fit and budget espesialy..they prey on people who arnt that clued up when it comes to cars..and hit them with an expensive bill..

rule of three..shop around.

Yeah mate thats just what i was looking for. thinking really of getting 195/40/15 tyres but will see. really just after tyres which are really good in the wet. always handy to have grip in the wet.
