Radio Questions

On my previous car (not a Toyota) the manual gave info on how to enter the radio code should it be necessary. This was easily obtained from the dealer.

This would be necessary if the Battery was disconnected or went flat. All I can find is that settings would be lost and I take that to mean pre-sets etc.

I can find very little info here or a wider online search. Does this mean that the radio does not require a code if power is lost or am I missing something?

I'm able to confirm what @ptaurissr wrote, if Battery leads have been removed, no code required, only preset stations and audio settings for both radio and CD will be lost.
