2003 Toyota Avensis Tourer Rear Seat Belt Problem

Hi All,

Am new to the site and have just brought a 2003 2.0 VVTI Avensis,

The problem I have is that the N/S/R Seat belt keeps jamming and won’t release unless you take the belt off and let it fully retract and that go again, but soon as it starts pulling out its jamming you can hear like a clicking sound and back to square 1 again,

Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I best replacing it with a new 1 if so does anybody have any idea what sort of price Mr. T charges.

brought one a few years ago for my partners 2001 estate after dog chewed through it and i think it cost around £40ish.did try one from breakers but saloon ones have a different atttachment fitting to estates and you dont find many of them in breakers yards.took me about 30 mins to change.
