Toyota Virgin From North Wales

Just a quick post to say hi and introduce myself.

I'm Colin, currently driving a Honda Accord and a member of Type Accord, swmbo has got a Civic.

After 10 years of Honda's I am seriously considering moving my allegiance to Toyota and getting a Auris (diesel or hybrid) and a Yaris (1.3 petrol) for swmbo.

I've got an Auris Hybrid on test at the moment and must say that I'm enjoying driving it, despite the fact that it does take a bit of getting used to with the lack of acceleration.

I don't agree with the mainly negative reviews I have read about it - it may not look as refined as a VW, but I want practicality, economy and reliability over anything else so I think it suits me - so far over the last couple of hundred miles I'm averaging 60mpg.
