The key of my Avensis 2.2D 2008 is starting to not work on the first press. Is this the Battery wearing out and if so how expensive is it to get replaced?

sounds like it ... for the sake of 50p .... a simple check

when mine was dying, it did all sorts of strange things...

Easy to change the Battery. Buy a packet of them on eBay for a couple of quid. Instructions to change it are in the owners manual.
