Advice On Toyota Avensis 2.0 D-4D T2 (2008)

hi

im going to look at an avensis 2.0 d-4d t2 tomorrow.

not being a car mechanic, or any ways mechanical :), is there any issues i should look out for on this particular model?

for users with the same model,. how do you like the car, is it reliable..

So, um, it's a bit tricky to advise what to look for if you're not really mechanically minded. They are about as reliable as you can get, yes they have niggles but as a general rule Toyota sort them very well.

Best thing to do is ensure it has a full service history and ask to see the related invoices. Hopefully they will either have them or be able to download them from the system (if you are buying from a Toyota dealer). Read the invoices, if there's anything you don't understand, ask them about it.

Test drive it to see how it feels. If it feels odd and they try to explain it as 'they all do that' then something is amiss. If it feels wrong it probably is wrong.

Oh, and trust your gut feeling because if you have doubts before you buy it they will only get worse once you have parted with your money.
