Auris Stereo Code?

Hello,

Can anybody tell me if the stereo is coded in the Auris? I'm going to remove the Battery to give me some better access when I change the gearbox oil - although access from below might be adequate enough. Also allows me to give the engine bay a bit of a clean up.

I can't find any mention of stereo codes in the owners manual/paperwork. So is it coded in any way?

Some people have disconnected the Battery to reset the ECU, and from these posts, I haven't seen any issues arising with the stereo. I'm on my second Auris and haven't had a stereo code with either. So I would suggest the stereo is not coded.
