Swapping Key Blade In Broken Plastic Casing

Hi, I have bought several replacement 2-button remote key fobs
recently (my wife seems to snap a fob a year). This means I have several
cut keys with broken cases. Now I'm wondering if I can swap the blade
and transponder from an old key, to a new fob/casing and uncut blade.
The cases have a tiny screw which seems to hold the blade, but removing
the screw doen't release the blade. Does anyone know if the blade is
removable without damaging the casing.
