Hi All,

I have a Toyota Yaris SR D-4D of a model year 2009. Recently , as I was listening as usual to music on my car radio , i began to notice that the frequency of the radio was bad but from my side not from the radio stations as this is happening only to me as it loses the frequency just after 5 mins i start the engine. is there a button which my mistake i pressed and is causing this?

Thanks ,

Yaas

Do you have AF turned on or off?

Each time the AF button on your car audio is pressed, the radio display should show somethng like the following:

AF-ON

REG OFF > AF-ON

REG-ON > AF-OFF

REG-OFF

If you have AF turned on the radio will automatically re-tune to the strongest signal for the station the radio is tuned to - 'AF ON' in radio display - most useful if you're listening to a National station (eg. BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, etc)

If the station you're listening to is a Regional station (eg. BBC Radio West Midlands, BBC Radio Leicester, etc) having 'REG ON' in radio display enables the radio to lock down to your current Region.
