05 Avensis Verso 2.0 D4D - Erg Cleaned But Management Light On Again

Mechanic (not my usual one) used code reader to diagnose ERG problem and cleaned it yesterday. The management light came on again after a few miles and I plan to take car to my usual garage on Monday to sort problem. There seems to be no loss of power and I am wondering if I will cause engine damage by continuing to drive. I have a 300 mile journey planned for Sat & Sun.

Car still driving as normal, no problem with acceleration or any sign of sluggishness on hills. The light was not on after starting this morning but appeared after driving about 10 miles..
