Sidelights?

I am trying to find out what the correct name is for the small bulbs in the headlights. These are the ones that turn on with the first click of the stalk and turn on with the rear lights and the number plate lights. Also would anyone happen to know if these share a fuse or have a seperate fuse?

Some owners manuals also refer to them as parking lights, but the more common name in the UK is, as Raistlin says, sidelights.

Legal jargon, as in the Road vehicle Construction and Use Regulations, is Front Position Lights or Rear Position Lights accordingly.

it's fuse 2 (10amp) in the fascia (dash) fusebox..

If you can make out the diagram you should find it o.k.

Thanks for the reply. It looks as though the fuse for these lights also powers the rear lights and the number plate lights and they are all working fine so still a little confused.

Went to the mechanics today to get the oil changed and he changed these lights too. I was removing the wrong bulbs! Lol

They were both blown but all back to normal now.
