hi guys I own an auris 2.0 d4d 57 plate just been offered a o5 celica gt with 48k in yellow my question is did Toyota make the gt in yellow and what are the diffrences between gt and the 190 t sport apart from bodykit and wheels I was thinking of swapping with this celica as I used to own a gt4 205 304 bhp in jade metallic but mech I used ripped me off made gasket covered oil feed starved turbo at 700 a time for turbo couldn't keep car found out about gasket afterwards so don't want swap for this celica if its not genuine colour/model

the celica can be seen on gumtree under celica in Aberdeen/aberdeenshire

Hi, Garry.

The GT was announced in 2005 with Thunder Grey and Sahara Sun being the two colour choices. Chilli Red was made available shortly afterwards, and finally Storm Blue was the fourth and final colour. The yellow is the rarest of the four, with probably less than 30 sold.

Differences (apart from the kit & wheels) are:-

Toyota Team Eupope lowering Springs

Alcantara inserts in the seats

Unique Gear Knob

6CD H/U

You must ensure you do an HPI check on the GT, to make sure it's not a Cat. C or D!!.

HTH :)

You're asking the wrong guy, Garry, as I think the kit on the GT is a bit OTT, and I'd save some money and either buy a 140 or T Sport personally. You should try and drive both engine varients, as some find the gearing on the TS or GT annoying on the dual carriageway/motorway :)
